Anger has consequences. Once you let anger carry you away, it is hard to get back to a rational state of mind.

 

You have to develop the ability to recognize and process your emotions in a healthy way, otherwise, you become a slave to them.

 

You might end up making things worse. Understand your anger triggers and how you react to them. Controlling your anger early is the key.

 

Whenever you realize your anger is surfacing, practice taking a pause and breathing deeply before saying anything at all.

 

Take a time out to free yourself from the flow of anger. Think and then respond.
