Life is not black and white. In trying to fit our experiences neatly into boxes, we become obsessed with achieving the desired outcome. And if things don't go as expected, we dwell in despair. This type of thinking prevents you from internalizing the fact that you can find happiness even when things don't go your way. Black and white thinking can limit your potential and the way you relate to others. People are so much more than the fixed labels they are usually described with. Rather than rushing to judgment, try to learn more about the situation or person.
