The practice is to engage with these moments in ways that reduce our struggle and suffering.

 

Instead of obsessing over catastrophic thoughts or insisting that “this shouldn’t be happening,” gently guide your mind in a more positive direction.

 

What you need is a willingness to be at peace with whatever is unfolding.

 

A big part of nurturing that openness is trusting that everything is ultimately happening for your highest good, even if it’s not apparent right now.
