Nothing can ruin your day like a bad memory randomly popping up in your mind.


It can make you feel sad, anxious, and helpless; as if all the work you've done to move on has been futile.


Don't worry. It happens. Acknowledge the unpleasant memory by writing about it as objectively as possible.


This allows you to let go of the emotion associated with that memory.


You see the memory for what it is, a thought about your past experiences - nothing more nothing less.


Once you release the emotions, the memory will lose its strength and fade gradually.


Remind yourself that you're not the same person anymore. Step into your power and continue to thrive.


Embrace your life, which is a lot bigger than those bad memories.
