When we practice non-attachment, we learn to relate to our emotions differently. We don't dwell on what we can't control.
We allow our experiences to enrich us and then we just let go. We don't cling to anything, because everything is temporary anyway.
By releasing your expectations, you gain clarity of mind. You do not let your happiness stay dependent on external factors.
Remember, non-attachment is not the same as indifference.
Indifference means you don't allow yourself to engage with life - you suppress your emotional responses to your experiences.
On the other hand, non-attachment is about living the present moment with acceptance and curiosity.
