If you are starting out with meditation, it's important to let yourself "fail". It's okay if you lose focus on your breath. It's entirely expected.
Meditation is about practicing the act of returning your focus to the breath. When your mind wanders, gently acknowledge it and get back to a state of calm awareness.
Feel the sensations in your body when you breathe in and out. Avoid judging your thoughts. By simply observing what's happening, you train your mind to enjoy the present.
