Unwanted intrusive thoughts are normal. We all experience them from time to time. Having such thoughts does not mean you are a bad person.

Intrusive thoughts have no meaning in your life. Don't overthink it. Remind yourself that these thoughts do not define you and you will never act on them.

It's also important that you don't try to suppress those thoughts. Instead, let them run their course in the background while you bring your attention back to an engaging activity.
