You are only responsible for yourself, your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions.
You cannot control others.
If something is within your control, do it. If not, let it go and stop obsessing over it.
Granted, it's not easy to actually do this. It takes a lot of practice to let go of worrying and catastrophizing. But the effort is well worth it.
Each time you find yourself resisting a situation, look at the situation and decide what to do about it.
Ask yourself, “What is my role in this?” Do the best you can do and then simply allow things to happen.
Having a negative feeling doesn't always mean having to act on it. Trust that you’ll be okay no matter what circumstances come your way.
