We use our phones for pretty much everything now - entertainment, work, shopping, catching up on the news, and staying connected with friends and family.
While our phones make our lives easier in so many ways, the habit of constantly checking our phones has caused our attention span to decrease significantly.
You have to make a conscious decision to focus on habits that will build your mental stamina.
Remove apps that are too distracting or at least set a time limit on how long you can use those apps.
Use your phone only when you actually need it. Practice mindfulness meditation and give your brain a break from the constant stimulation.
