But every once in a while, you will find yourself struggling with a strong emotional reaction caused by a trigger.

 

You may feel anxious or nervous thinking that you're not coping well. But that's not true.

 

Our experiences, both good and bad, shape our lives. Although we can't undo bad experiences, we can take responsibility for our attitudes and actions.

 

We can decide to change our patterns and focus on taking actions that improve our well-being.

 

Think of your triggers as opportunities for self-reflection and improving the way you handle what you feel.
