Most of us, at some point in our lives, have had to give up the things we wanted to do for the sake of our loved ones.

 

Making sacrifices, be it postponing your goals, putting your life on hold, or letting go of your desires is never easy.

 

While making a positive impact on your loved one's life seems worthwhile, it's also normal to have feelings of resentment.

 

The key to dealing with difficult emotions is reframing the sacrifices you have made. You're doing what's best for people you care about.

 

Try to think about the good that has come out of the situation. Take time to deal with your difficult emotions and find some balance in your life.

 

We can only nurture our relationships by taking care of our emotional well-being.
