Some people find their purpose and passion early in life, while others find it at a later time. But for those who haven’t found their passion and purpose yet, it can get frustrating, confusing and downright unpleasant.
If you’re feeling stuck at this point and you know deep down that you are meant for something better and fulfilling, hang in there and read these powerful tips below to help you figure out your passion and purpose in life.
Before anything else, keep calm and don’t be too hard on yourself.
Drop the guilt and shame and accept the reality that things are not always going to make sense. You’re still growing, evolving, and figuring things out as you go along and that’s okay.
Don’t beat yourself up for not knowing everything and be kind to yourself during this process. Instill in your mind that just because you haven't got all figured out right now, doesn't mean you never will. So, just trust and don’t rush the process. You’ll get there when the time is right.
Remember the time when you expressed in school what you wanted to be when you grew up? Try to remember that moment and ask yourself if what you wanted to do back then still resonates with you today in one way or another.
Our childhood days can sometimes reveal important insights and clues about what sets our soul on fire. If you look back, you might discover some valuable information that could help you uncover some layers about yourself, and eventually help you drive towards a new satisfying path in life.

There’s no denying that jealousy isn’t a healthy emotion and what we do about it can make us or break us.
If you want to use it for good, dig deep and ask yourself why you’re jealous in the first place.
Whatever the cause of your jealousy, it’s a sign there's something lacking in your life, and only you can answer what that something is. It’s also completely up to you whether you’re going to do something about it and turn this negativity into positivity like being more productive, taking care of yourself more, etc.
And if you’re not jealous, but rather inspired about what someone did or achieved in life, use that light in you to fuel you and empower you. Use this inspiration to take action, start a new venture and pursue something you’ve always wanted to do.
Humans tend to dwell more on the negatives. What could go wrong? Why something isn’t possible, rather than focusing on what could go right and why things are going to work out.
It’s always beneficial to find and focus on your strengths rather than dwell on your weaknesses.
Once you know the answers, figure out how you can use these strengths in a way that makes your life more meaningful and adds value to other people’s lives. And always remember that you’re good at something for a reason! So, don’t let your talents and skills go to waste.
Rather, use and utilize these strengths to your advantage in order to lead a life full of passion and purpose.
Last but not the least, don’t forget to reflect and contemplate. The thing is, when we are so obsessed and desperate to search for answers, we can get lost and not find the clarity we’re longing for.
During times of uncertainties, it’s best to be still and quiet because clarity doesn’t come in the midst of chaos. Clarity comes when you slow down. You can do this by journaling, praying, meditating and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of life.
That’s it for now. I hope these tips above will help you find your purpose and passion in life.
It all starts with a decision to change something about your life. Use this inner drive and longing to take meaningful steps and move forward in the direction you desire and remember that slow progress is better than no progress at all!
